A Proud Moment for Model Mirah’s Mum

Proud mum Heather was overjoyed when her baby was selected to take part in one of Models Direct’s recent modelling assignments. They worked with The Edge Picture Group to produce a film for Southern Energy. Here’s what happened on the day.

The Edge Picture Group were looking for a baby aged around ten months with olive skin. The company was interested in a number of the babies put forward for selection by Models Direct but in the end it was baby Mirah who was chosen. She took part in day’s filming for a production that is to be used internally at Southern Energy.

Unfortunately the filming was running behind schedule and so there was some waiting around for Heather and baby Mirah. “We were waiting all day to be called,” Heather informed Models Direct. “If I had known earlier that they were running behind schedule then I would have been able to plan her routine better to optimise her performance.”

Despite this, Mirah performed wonderfully in front of the camera and both mum and baby enjoyed the experience.

Mirah was working alongside another model who was playing the role of her mum. “I was asked to put Mirah in her high chair while a scene was filmed,” Heather explained. “Later she was to fall asleep in the woman’s arms in a darkened living room. She snuggled in almost on queue and the producer was very pleased with her performance.”

“If you think your child is suited to being a baby model or in front of a camera with lots of people then give it a go,” Heather continued. “It makes you feel very proud to see your baby enjoying themselves and it gives you something to look back on in the years to come. Being paid is also a bonus!”
