GENBAND Names Jeffrey Kupp as CFO
Seasoned Executive Brings Deep Experience Navigating Public Markets
PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)– GENBAND Inc., a market-leading developer of next-generation IP infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has named Jeffrey Kupp as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to CEO Charlie Vogt, Mr. Kupp will be responsible for accounting, finance and investor relations. He joins GENBAND from Microtune where he served as CFO for the past four years. He replaces Jan Gaulding, who has been named GENBAND’s Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing human resources, legal, information technology and general administration.

At Microtune, Mr. Kupp served as Vice President, CFO and Secretary since 2005 and was responsible for accounting, finance, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations and risk management. He played a significant role in Microtune’s expansion as a global leader in radio frequency integrated circuits and subsystem modules for the cable, automotive and digital TV markets, helping the company navigate investor relations challenges and emerge with confidence and credibility.
Prior to Microtune, Mr. Kupp was the CFO at Inet Technologies, Inc., a global supplier of performance management and testing solutions for telecommunications carriers and equipment manufacturers. He also served as CFO for IEX Corporation and CS Wireless Systems and was employed as a Director at DSC Communications Corporation. Mr. Kupp began his career at Ernst & Young as an auditor and then a management consultant. A Certified Public Accountant, he holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Asbury College.
