INVENTSAI CLIENT PATENTS AIR TIGHT PAINT TRAY WITH RESEALABLE LID

Inventor Linda S. Drummond of Elkhart, IN has developed a roller styled paint tray with a re-sealable lid that allows the user to store their paint and roller for extended periods of time.

Often when painting with a roller the worst part of the job is dealing with a paint tray. Not only must it constantly be refilled and moved about with great care, but the paint must be emptied back into the paint can if it is not all used at once. This not only takes time, but results in wasted paint. Additionally, if only a small amount of paint is needed for touch-up work, it must be transferred from the can to the tray, and again paint will be wasted. Inventor Drummond has developed a means by which a paint tray can hold paint for a longer period of time, rather than just when it is being used.

This clever new invention is a paint tray, which has a lid that locks to keep paint fresh and uncontaminated. The lid also creates a unique workstation when in place. Additionally, the tray is equipped ladder rings. The use of the Air-Tight Paint Tray allows for increased ease of painting with a paint tray in a manner that is quick and effective.

The InventSAI Network helped inventor Drummond to get a patent (D603,571) through Montgomery Patent and Design LLC, and is now working with Ad-Gen for the commercialization of her invention.
