“As the players, including Princes William and Harry, lined up before me, the rather stuffy organiser advised me the etiquette was to kiss them on each cheek and then present the prize. William strode towards me. ‘Apparently I have to kiss you…’ I began, adding ‘Do you want tongue?’ The Prince looked agog for a moment, but instead of clapping me in irons, erupted in to laughter. ‘Perhaps later,’ he mischievously replied, obviously overjoyed not to be treated like a porcelain prince for a change.”
