Medifacts Inks $1.6 Million Diabetes Study with Top Five Pharmaceutical Company
“Scalable Efficiencies” Study to be Conducted Globally Across Seventy Sites
ROCKVILLE, Md. & LANGENFELD, Germany–(BUSINESS WIRE)– MEDIFACTS INTERNATIONAL, INC. one of the largest global providers of noninvasive cardiac diagnostic services today announced the award of a $1.6 million contract with a top five pharmaceutical company to provide comprehensive cardiac safety and efficacy services for a large, late-stage clinical trial.
Medifacts is employing a “scalable efficiencies approach” to this trial which aims to maximize efficiencies through the use of existing resource allocation. The Medifacts scalable efficiencies approach was designed in concert with its leading partner to create a better planning paradigm and to reduce costs through better allocation of equipment and personnel needed for start-up, training and help desk. Medifacts projects that through this approach it will ultimately achieve a 20% reduction in both the time needed for the study and the costs associated with equipment, start-up, training and help desks. Medifacts will provide consulting services, equipment and an array of cardiac safety and efficacy services for this diabetes study, which will be conducted across seventy sites spread over three continents.
