Models Direct Has Models All Wrapped Up For Gift Shop Poppi Red
Poppi Red describes itself as “the ultimate gift and pamper emporium”, a gift shop and café in popular tourist area Hawkshead in Cumbria. Poppi Red also sells clothes, and when they needed a model to lead the way in a charity fashion show they turned to Models Direct to find the perfect candidate.
Kim from Poppi Red was looking for a female model, preferably with some experience, in her mid thirties to lead other models in the fashion show. It was Rebecca who was selected to take part.
Rebecca attended a fitting at the cosy shop before moving on to the show location to have her hair and make up done by a professional stylist. This made preparing for the assignment a lot easier for Rebecca – all she had to bring with her was a pair of her own high heels.
“I was pleased with the work involved and the retailer was helpful in giving guidance and support,” Rebecca told Models Direct in her model feedback questionnaire. “It’s fun to be a model, it makes you feel good about yourself.”
This wasn’t the first time that Rebecca had used her modelling skills to promote this area. Last year she worked with Cumbria Tourism, having her photos taken around tourist sites to be used on the company’s website.
She received some great feedback from Cumbria Tourism. “Rebecca was calm, honest and enthusiastic and understood the brief of the project and what we wanted to achieve.” No doubt she’ll get some equally positive feedback from Poppi Red.
