Nano Med Tech Secure R&D Funding.
Shanghai (CHINA)-based bio-technology specialists Nano Med Tech Inc. have reportedly secured the backing of a prominent overseas Venture Capitalist firm in what is being referred to in bio-tech circles as a major Nano technology breakthrough in the field of medical treatment.
Personnel at Nano Med Tech were understandably remaining tight-lipped when asked for comments, but Alumni Associations worldwide seem to be in agreement that the rumors of a ground-breaking advance in Nano technology are substantiated by a raft of documented supporting evidence.
Prof. Raymond Sebinski, a former president of the Biotechnology and Molcular biology Alumni of Murdoch University, Perth (AUS), was one of several ‘founding fathers’ of Nanotech research and a major contributor to the raft of foundation-level studies on the subject. Sebinski commented that “The individuals at Nano Med Tech are well known in the industry through their early-stage studies on the potential of PLGA-immuno nanoparticles. The global biotech community has every reason to be assured of their integrity.”
Sebinski referred to a number of studies by various members of the team that has now assembled as Nano Med Tech Inc, which were published in a number of highly respected global scientific journals such as Nature and The Lancet. “At that time they were post-phd scholars, studying individually at some of the best institutions in the western world, and the rest of us, who were considered to be much more established in the field, were genuinely staggered by their thinking. Obviously they are not lacking business acumen given that they have now consolidated themselves as a commercial enterprise in their home country”.
Several sources close to the Shanghai-based Nano Med Tech have reportedly commented on the closure of a funding deal, believed to have been made with a globally recognized Venture Capitalist firm who specialize in high-potential bio-tech and IT startups, and hinted that the primary incentive for investment was related to Nano Med Tech’s successful passing of a crucial FDA gateway – a critical step in the go-to-market strategy for any medical patent.
