The number of handset connections to reach 615.3 million in 2013 in South and Central America

We are forecasting subscriber growth at a CAGR of 6.3% between 2009 and 2013 in South and Central America. Total mobile connections will go from 437.2 million in 2008 to 615.3 million in 2013.

GSM connections will reach 561.4 million in 2013 with the biggest growth happening with HSPA connections
