Working with Children and Animals was a Great Assignment for Models Direct’s Elena!

People say never work with children or animals, but for a recent assignment with Models Direct models Gareth and Elena were working with both. The models took part in a photoshoot for Kit for Kids.

Fortunately the weather wasn’t too wintry on the afternoon of the assignment as the models were asked to pose in a Sevenoaks park. The two models were playing the roles of mum and dad of child model Sam to create the image of a happy family.

As anyone who works with children will know, they can sometimes be a bit temperamental and three-year-old Sam wasn’t having the best day. Luckily Elena managed to get him interested in what was going on. “Elena made Sam feel very comfortable and really brought him out of his shell,” Lindsay, who was working on the shoot, told Models Direct. “We also had a dog in the shoot and she was great with him too!”

On the day of the assignment everything ran smoothly and it took less time than expected to get all the images the client required. “Both Elena and Gareth were great and very professional but Elena especially was brilliant,” Lindsay informed Models Direct. “All in all it was a successful shoot and wouldn’t hesitate to use either model again.”

It wasn’t just the client who was satisfied with how the assignment went. Elena and Gareth, who have worked on a number of modelling assignments for Models Direct, both enjoyed the assignment.

Gareth said he felt very good after the assignment and the best thing about it was doing what he enjoys. “Nice people to work for and enjoyed working with the second model,” he concluded.

“I loved it all,” Elena told one of the modelling agency’s coordinators. “I felt wonderful. The approach of both the organiser and the photographer was so warm and gentle that my work was a real joy. I felt part of the team immediately. The shoot went extremely smoothly as a result of that.”
