YouTube acquires Directr for small business advertisements

3Famous video sharing site YouTube has confirmed that the company has agreed to acquire video-editing startup Directr. The company has confirmed that the acquisition would help YouTube to expand their advertisement capabilities to the small business.

The company shared the information on their Google+ page. Directr would join the YouTube Ads for easing up the process for the advertisers. YouTube has also confirmed that no major changes would be reflected at an organization level. The Directr app has also been made free. The Directr is currently offering low price tool to make attractive advertisements for the small business.

YouTube said that Directr would continue to do what it does under YouTube and makes it easy for the small businesses to prepare advertisement. The possibility of android app for Directr might come soon under YouTube or Google. However, there is no official confirmation.
